- This site is particularly focused on the away support of ARSENAL FC..altho' all Gooners are welcome to participate.
- For those Gooners who regularly meander up and down the country in support of our Club, this site hopes to promote friendship and comradeship amongst the travelling faithful.
- I believe the Away support of any club usually features the hard core fans...arguably the most loyal, the most fanatical, and also the most valuable to the Team in far off venues, in strange towns & cities, on less than forgiving pitches with hostile home fans. The Away day Gooner makes the job of the 1st Teamers, that much easier to do. They are effectively the 12th man of the Team.
- On this website Gooners will have the opportunity to share pictures, stories & experiences.... write match reports, arrange meet-ups etc. This service is of course absolutely free, and will be run by myself for the benefit of all those who want to participate.
- To get the ball rolling, I am inviting Gooners to get in touch. Perhaps you want to share some details about you and your mates, or some pics of you and the family at the game. Its up to you. I will publish anything you want ARSENAL related of course, and obviously I reserve the right to edit, and I will not publish anything offensive or in poor taste.
- When the 2008-09 season gets under way, I will be publishing Match Reports & articles written by you.
- BUT YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE RIGHT NOW if you wish, and be one of the first to be part of this! Send me whatever you think may be of interest.
- You can share your plaudits, your dis-appointments, your expectations and your interpretations of how the Team is performing.
- The first game I will be at is Huddersfield on August 6th 2008...I look forward to seeing you there.
- Get in touch now, and lets get the ball rolling. Tell me as much or as little about yourself (and your relationshipr with AFC) as you want to. All pictures you send (if suitable) will be uploaded to the site within 24 hours.
